My love and I wanted to take a late night urban walk and we chose a stroll on the historic Colorado Street Bridge. The summer air was cool and calm. The bridge was well-lit and quiet. I love how the bridge curves and provides a sense of mystery. Only a few cars drove past on the bridge. Below, the Arroyo Seco was dark and noiseless. Above, Mars was bright in the east.
A bit of the bridge history: built in 1912, it spans 1486 feet (0.28 miles), with maximum height of 150 feet.
